What is the important diagnostic basis for neurologic Lyme disease

Important diagnostic basis of neuro-Lyme disease mainly includes epidemiologic history, cerebrospinal fluid examination and serologic diagnostic tests.
1. Epidemiological history: Neuro-Lyme disease is a zoonosis, patients have a history of living in tick-infected areas, which is more common in summer, and the pathogen is transmitted from animals to humans through tick bites, but there is no human-to-human transmission.
2. Cerebrospinal fluid examination: patients with neurological Lyme disease can have their cerebrospinal fluid extracted by lumbar puncture, and after laboratory examination, it can be found that there is an increase in the number of lymphocytes, a mild increase in the protein and normal sugar content, and an increase in the content of specific antibodies, which is of diagnostic significance.
3. Serologic diagnosis: Elevated specific IgM and IgG antibodies in serum are of great diagnostic value, but false negatives and false positives should be guarded against.
