How to eat artichokes

Artichoke can be taken by decocting the soup and taking it internally. Artichoke is the above-ground part of artichoke in the family of Asteraceae, which is sweet and bitter in taste, cool in nature, and belongs to the heart and liver meridians. It has the efficacy of cooling blood and stopping bleeding (cooling and moisturizing the blood, preventing bleeding), dispersing blood stasis, detoxifying and eliminating carbuncle, and is mainly used for epistaxis, vomiting blood, urinating blood, blood in stools and urine, leakage of menstruation (excessive menstruation or more than a few drops of menstruation), bleeding of traumatic injuries, carbuncle, swelling, and poisonous sores. Artichoke can be decocted and taken internally, or grated and applied topically externally. For stopping bleeding, it is recommended to stir-fry the charcoal and use it. This product is forbidden to those who have bleeding in the spleen and stomach, or those who have deficiency of spleen and stomach (spleen and stomach weak and cold) without stagnation; this product is cool in nature, so pregnant women should be cautious in using it. If there is a need for medication or when discomfort occurs, it is recommended to use the medication under the guidance of a professional doctor, and not to use the medication on your own to avoid adverse consequences.
