What should I do if my ears bleed?

1. External auditory canal injury: It is mainly caused by breaking the skin of the ear canal by pulling out the ear with hard objects. If the damage is not very serious, it is necessary to keep the ear canal clean, and most of them can heal by themselves; if the damage to the ear canal is more serious, it is necessary to use medicines such as ofloxacin ear drops, cefuroxime and so on to prevent infections, and to use the external ear canal to stop bleeding treatment.
2. Tympanic membrane injury: usually the amount of bleeding is small, most of them are perforated tympanic membrane caused by trauma. It is necessary to keep the external ear canal clean, avoid cold and flu, and take oral antibiotics such as cefuroxime under the guidance of the doctor to prevent infection. If the perforation has not healed in more than three months, timely surgical treatment is needed.
