Effects of Eytan

Eytan is also known as Apatinib Mesylate Tablets. It is the world’s first small-molecule anti-angiogenic targeted drug proven safe and effective in advanced gastric cancer, and a drug that significantly prolongs survival after standard chemotherapy has failed in advanced gastric cancer. It is also the only oral agent among targeted drugs for gastric cancer, which can effectively improve patient compliance with treatment and significantly reduce the cost of treatment. It mainly achieves anti-tumor effects by inhibiting the generation of new blood vessels in tumor tissues. Eytan is a domestically produced targeted drug that was launched at the end of 2014, and it is currently used for advanced gastric adenocarcinoma of the gastroesophageal junction in addition to advanced gastric adenocarcinoma that has progressed or recurred after receiving at least two previous systemic chemotherapies. In addition, there are now studies on the use of etan for the treatment of other malignancies, such as breast cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, and soft tissue sarcoma.
