Carbomer Gel is clinically ineffective for cervical erosion because cervical erosion itself is a normal physiological phenomenon. Only when the estrogen in the body decreases, the displaced columnar epithelium will move back into the cervical canal, making the surface of the cervix smooth. For this normal physiological phenomenon, there is no need to intervene clinically, there is no need to pursue the so-called smooth cervix. A smooth cervix does not necessarily mean that the epithelium is not diseased, so in the clinic, do not blindly intervene to avoid irreparable consequences. For patients with cervical erosion, it is recommended that they undergo gynecological examination once a year regardless of whether they are uncomfortable or not, and at the same time, they should undergo cervical cancer screening to find out whether there is any lesion on the cervical epithelium.
