The following Chinese patent medicines are commonly used for diuresis. The first one, is Jisheng Kidney Qi Pill. It is composed of Chinese herbs such as Shu Di Huang, Ze Xie, Cornus officinalis, Cinnamon and Plantago ovata, which have good effects of diuresis and swelling and warming the kidney and transforming Qi. Tong Ling Pill is a proprietary Chinese medicine with the effect of clearing heat, relieving dampness and tonifying the spirit, and is mainly used for conditions such as urethritis, frequent urination, urgent urination and painful urination caused by damp heat in the lower jiao. The third one, is Jin Kui Kidney Qi Pill. It is also composed of Di Huang, Dan Pi, Shan Yao, Ze Di, Che Qian Zi and Cornus officinalis, and also has a good effect of resolving Qi, moving water and warming the kidneys and tonifying Yang. It is suitable for patients with unfavorable urination, edema of kidney deficiency, and accompanied by fear of cold, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees.
