There is no clear record of acupuncture points with liver detoxification effects, but Yanglingquan, Yinlingquan, Taichong and other points have a certain effect on liver and gallbladder, and can be used to assist in the treatment by acting on the above points.
1. Yanglingquan acupoint: precise point, on the lateral side of the calf, the head of the fibula in front of the lower part of the depression. It has the effect of relieving the liver and gallbladder, relaxing the tendons and activating the collaterals, and can be used to treat coercive pain (pain in the area of coercion and ribs), bitter taste in the mouth and other illnesses.
2. Yinlingquan acupoint: Precisely located on the inner side of the lower leg, in the depression between the lower edge of the medial condyle of the tibia and the medial edge of the tibia. It has the effects of strengthening the spleen and seeping dampness, benefiting the kidney and regulating menstruation, and energizing the meridians and collaterals. It can be used for the symptoms of liver and gallbladder dampness-heat, such as pain in the ribs and wounds, dizziness, redness of the eyes, and bitterness in the mouth, etc., and it can lead the dampness away from the urine and stools.
3. Taichong Acupuncture Point: Precisely located on the dorsum of the foot, between the 1st and 2nd metatarsal bones, in the depression in front of the metatarsal base union, or touching the arterial pulsation. It has the effect of calming the liver and restraining wind, dredging the liver and nourishing blood. The main treatment for headache, dizziness, insomnia, epilepsy, eye redness and swelling pain, coercion and rib distension and pain.
It should be noted that acupoint therapy plays an auxiliary role, such as the need for acupoint therapy should be operated by a professional doctor. If there is discomfort, you should stop in time and go to the hospital in time to avoid delay.
