To see lung cancer from CT report, we need to start from the size, boundary and internal features, but the confirmation of diagnosis needs to rely on pathological diagnosis.
1. Size: Generally speaking, the size of benign tumors is not too big, mostly between 3~5 cm, while malignant tumors will be bigger in size, and some of them may even exceed 7 cm.
2. Boundary: CT report of lung cancer patients will show a lot of burrs and the boundary is not very clear; benign tumors will have smooth and sharp edges, and the whole is clearer.
3. Internal features: if the surface is uneven or there are triangular shadows between the tumor and pleura, it is very likely to be lung cancer.
There is no way for CT report to determine lung cancer completely, it still needs to be combined with pathological tissue analysis. If abnormalities are found in the lungs in CT examination, it is recommended to consult the doctor in time, improve other related examinations under the doctor’s guidance, make a clear diagnosis and treat it positively, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
