What are the herbal prescriptions for chronic atrophic gastritis?

Chronic atrophic gastritis belongs to the category of stomach pain and vomiting in Chinese medicine. According to the type of symptoms, we can choose Lian Pu Drink, tonifying the middle and benefiting the qi soup, benefiting the stomach soup and so on.
1. Dampness-heat obstruction of the stomach syndrome, with noisy stomach and epigastric region (stomach feeling similar to hunger, emptiness with burning), nausea, dry mouth and thirst, low food intake, and yellow and greasy moss. Use Lian Pu Drink to clear away heat and dissolve dampness, eliminate lumps and harmonize the stomach. The formula has Huanglian, gardenia, calamus, half-sia, rehmannia, Houpu, tempeh and so on.
2. Weakness of the spleen and stomach, abdominal distension and discomfort, sometimes light, sometimes heavy, lack of spirit, low speech. It can be treated with Tonifying the Middle Jiao Qi Tang to replenish Qi and strengthen the spleen. It is composed of ginseng, astragalus, atractylodes macrocephala, roasted licorice, angelica sinensis, chenpi, shengma and chaihu.
3. Stomach yin deficiency (insufficient yin fluid in the stomach) syndrome, stomach and epigastric distension and discomfort, hunger but no desire to eat, dry mouth and throat, constipation, red tongue with little moss. Use Yi Stomach Tang to nourish yin and benefit the stomach. It is composed of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Radix Ophiopogon, Radix et Rhizoma Shengdi, Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati, and Rock Sugar.
