Pain on the top of the tongue may be caused by papillitis of the tongue, oral ulcers, oral lichen planus and so on.

2. 3. Oral lichen planus: mainly manifested as burning pain in the oral mucosa, preferably in the tongue, can also appear in the palate, gums and other parts.
