What is the fetal position of rop

ROP is the abbreviation of fetal orientation, R stands for right side, O stands for occipital bone and P stands for posterior. However, when labor progresses to the end of the first stage, the occipital part of the fetus must turn to the front of the mother’s pelvis in order to deliver successfully. If the posterior occipital position is persistent, it may result in a difficult cephalic delivery, which will eventually require a cesarean section or forceps suction.
