What does persistent headache mean?

Persistent headache refers to a persistent sensation of pain in the head caused by environmental and disease factors. It is commonly seen in high blood pressure, neurological headache and intracranial tumors.
1. Hypertension: caused by the high pressure of blood on the walls of blood vessels, patients will experience symptoms such as head swelling and pain, paroxysmal dizziness and numbness of limbs.
2. Neurogenic headache: emotional tension, insomnia, brain stimulation and other factors can cause the onset. Usually the pain will last for 12 hours or even longer, manifesting as dull headache and pressure pain.
3. Intracranial tumor: Ionizing radiation is a risk factor for the development of this disease, which is manifested by headache, vomiting, epilepsy, optic nerve papillary edema and other symptoms.
When patients have persistent headache, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time to avoid delay.
