Clinically, Mian Dioscorea is used in the treatment of rheumatism paralysis, which can be paired with Duhuo, Weilingxian, Gentiana, etc. For the treatment of excessive leukorrhea, which is a result of the prevalence of dampness, it is mostly paired with Atractylodes macrocephala, Zedoaria, Poria.
For those with deficiency of kidney yin, seminal emission and slippery semen, use Mian Dioscore with caution.
