What to do if you have a cavernous blackhead on the inside of your ear

Cavity blackheads on the inner wall of the ear may be acne, pre-auricular fistula, etc. They should be observed regularly and treated with medication or surgery if necessary.
1. Acne: If there are no obvious symptoms, special treatment is usually not needed and regular observation is sufficient. However, do not squeeze the blackheads to avoid infection. If there are symptoms of infection, antibiotics such as cefaclor capsule and amoxicillin capsule can be taken for anti-infection treatment.
If the blackhead in the ear is infected and forms an abscess, the volume is increasing, local incision and drainage can be carried out, combined with the systemic application of antibiotic treatment.
2. Pre-auricular fistula: If the symptoms are mild and the onset of the disease is short, the fistula can be sterilized with povidone-iodine and the secretion can be cleaned up, and mupirocin ointment and other drugs can be applied to treat the fistula. If the inflammation reaction is more serious, follow the doctor’s advice oral amoxicillin clavulanate potassium, cefprozil dispersible tablets and other antibiotics, combined with the ointment local treatment.
If the above medication is ineffective and an abscess forms, consider incision and drainage of the abscess. If the effect of incision and drainage is unsatisfactory, consider the complete excision of pre-auricular fistula surgical treatment.
It is recommended to go to the regular hospital, clear diagnosis with the doctor for systematic and standardized treatment, the above drugs need to follow the doctor’s instructions to use.
