Can Sanghwang be used as a fire laxative?

There is no evidence that Sanghuang can diarrhea fire, i.e. Sanghuang may not diarrhea fire.
Sanghuang is a Chinese herbal medicine, slightly bitter, cold in nature, is the substrate of Firewood Laminaria, with the effect of activating blood, stopping bleeding, stopping diarrhea, softening hardness and dispersing lumps and knots, and is mainly used for treating hemorrhagic drenching (the appearance of blood in the urine and accompanied by pain), prolapse and diarrhea of blood, amenorrhea, diarrhea of deficiency of the spleen, and symptoms of impediments in the abdomen, and so on. Due to its bitter and cold nature, it should have the effect of clearing heat and diarrhea, but there is no authoritative research to prove that it can diarrhea.
If the patient has symptoms that require fire catharsis, he/she should take medicines with fire cathartic effect under the guidance of a professional doctor, and if he/she has a history of allergy to mulberry huang, he/she should prohibit the use of mulberry huang and its products in order to avoid allergy.
