Female patients’ hair loss after childbirth will last for 6-12 months, after 12 months normal hair growth will resume. Women’s hair loss after giving birth is mainly related to the estrogen level in the body. When estrogen is high during pregnancy, the rate of hair loss will be slow, and when estrogen drops after women give birth, hair loss will occur. After 12 months of hair loss, it will return to normal after conditioning. If conditioning is not done in time, habitual hair loss may occur. Women’s hair loss is most obvious around 3 months after giving birth, mainly because of the decrease of estrogen, mental stress, and nutritional imbalance, and also hair loss will start only around 7 months after giving birth, and the hair loss is all around 12 months.
