Opening the uterus first or breaking the water first

Most women open the uterus first, and when contractions become more frequent after labor, the uterus dilates to a certain degree and the anterior amniotic sac becomes more and more tense, it ruptures the anterior amniotic sac. However, some mothers may have their amniotic fluid rupture first, before the regular contractions and the opening of the uterus, which is called premature rupture of membranes. Most women with premature rupture of membranes will have regular contractions after the water breaks, and if they do not have regular contractions, they need to use contractions to induce labor. However, in cases of premature rupture of membranes at term, treatment should be expected according to the gestational age and the viability of the fetus, and the mother should be observed for signs of infection.
