What does median uterus mean?

Median uterus refers to the relative position of the uterus in the pelvis. Median uterus is the position between anterior and posterior uterus, and the chance of conception is also between the two. However, as long as you have intercourse during ovulation and can pillow your buttocks after intercourse, conception is generally not affected. Clinically, according to the relative position of the uterus in the pelvis, it can be divided into anterior, posterior and median uterus. Anterior position means that the cervix is downward, pointing toward the posterior vaginal fornix. The lower position in the body facilitates the passage of sperm through the cervical opening to meet the egg and conceive, so the anterior position of the uterus has a higher chance of conception. In the posterior position, the cervix is raised upward, and the cervix cannot fully touch the semen pool, which makes the semen flow out, so the chance of conception is lower.
