Bone tumors are tumors that occur in bones or their collateral tissues (blood vessels, nerves, bone marrow, etc.), with an incidence rate of about 0.01%. Bone tumor vs growing pains In fact, there is a difference between growing pains and pains caused by tumors: Bone tumors: pain lasts for a long time, pain intensity is high, pain site is fixed, mostly without obvious triggers; Growing pains: joint pains appear intermittently, pain site is not fixed, and can be relieved after rest. Therefore, if teenagers suddenly have unexplained pain around the joints, which cannot be relieved after resting, especially if the pain worsens when resting or sleeping at night, they should go to the hospital in time to exclude the possibility of bone tumors.
