Dampness around the anus accompanied by a foul odor may be due to anal fistula, presacral fistula, advanced anorectal cancer and other diseases.
1. Anal fistula: its typical clinical manifestations for the perianal and anorectal connected to the breach, the breach will have pus or bloody liquid, feces and other discharges, resulting in perianal moisture odor. May be accompanied by local pain and itching.
2. Presacral fistula: a breach can be seen around the tip of the coccyx, which is connected to the deep sacral rectal abscess cavity, and pus can flow out, resulting in a bad odor.
3. Advanced anorectal cancer: its external opening is similar to that of fistula, and the secretion is pus and blood with bad odor. However, the mass can be touched and hardened by rectal palpation, and carcinoma can be seen by pathologic examination.
