Is CAR-T Effective for Liver Cancer

CAR-T is clinically effective in treating liver cancer, but it is still in the experimental stage and has not been widely promoted. CAR-T (chimeric antigen receptor T cells) achieves the effect of treating cancer by strengthening the attack power of lymphocytes, which is a new type of immune cell precision-targeted therapy for tumors. The results of the study show that CAR-T therapy has a good safety profile and demonstrates preliminary effectiveness, and is likely to become a novel treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma. However, at present, CAR-T therapy is mainly applied to the treatment of hematological malignancies, such as leukemia, through which the survival period of patients can be effectively prolonged, and it has outstanding results and has been widely promoted in this regard. At present, CAR-T therapy for liver cancer is still being conducted in basic research for modeling experiments, but has not yet been used in clinical practice. If liver cancer is suspected or diagnosed, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital to evaluate the condition and follow the doctor’s instructions to cooperate with the treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
