Will the fetal heartbeat be like a pulse?

The fetal heart does not behave like a pulse and there is a direct difference between the two. Fetal heartbeat is the gradual appearance of the heartbeat as the fetus develops and grows. Regular and steady fetal heartbeat monitoring can effectively determine the safety of fetal growth and development, as well as the stability of the current growth state of the fetus. Pulse, on the other hand, is the regular activity of the aorta in a normal human body. Fetal heartbeat is not exactly similar to pulse. The heart rate of the fetal heart may show regularity, but it may also appear to be arrhythmic, which is directly related to the activity status of the fetus. Therefore the fetal heart is usually monitored by counting every hour or 24 hours. The pulse, on the other hand, beats regularly and needs to be counted on a per-minute basis. If a pregnant woman notices a small beating in her abdomen like a pulse, she needs to consider the beating of the abdominal aorta and not the fetal heart. Pregnant women need to go to the hospital for a timely checkup and have their fetal heart monitored regularly under the supervision of a doctor.
