What stage of Alzheimer’s does not sleep at night

Dementia is also known as Alzheimer’s disease. Lack of sleep at night is not considered as a symptom of Alzheimer’s disease staging and should be staged according to cognitive function and degree of impairment.
1. Pre-dementia stage: Pre-dementia stage may have no specific manifestations and generally does not affect daily life, or there may be mild cognitive dysfunction, very mild memory loss, mild impairment of language and executive ability, and there may be drowsiness and increased sleepiness.
2. Stage of dementia: immediate memory loss at the beginning, gradually over to distant memory loss. In moderate cases, memory impairment worsens, psychiatric symptoms appear, and the ability to live and socialize is severely reduced. In severe cases, the patient is unable to live independently, has severe mental deterioration, and is prone to systemic complications. Drowsiness can occur throughout the dementia stage.
Alzheimer’s disease patients should be accompanied by their families to seek timely medical treatment, under the guidance of professional doctors, active treatment, and strengthen the daily care, in order to improve the quality of life of patients.
