Hypotension can be categorized into physiological and pathological. Patients with physiologic hypotension usually have no obvious symptoms. Patients with pathologic hypotension may have symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, headache, and may also exhibit abdominal pain and low back pain. Hypotension is defined as arterial blood pressure in the body circulation that is below normal. When the arterial systolic blood pressure is lower than 90 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is lower than 60 mmHg can be called hypotension or hypotensive state. Patients with physiologic hypotension usually have no conscious symptoms. Patients with pathologic hypotension often experience fatigue, weakness, headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, abdominal discomfort, dyspepsia, vague pain or discomfort in the precordial region, and neurological dysfunction. However, if primary diseases of the abdomen and chest cause the patient to be hypotensive, symptoms such as abdominal pain and back pain may also occur. If there is any discomfort, you should seek medical attention and follow the doctor’s instructions.
