The Chinese name of CIN is cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, which belongs to the stage of cervical precancerous lesions and is divided into cervical precancerous lesions I, II and III, of which II and III are high-level cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. It is usually concluded after further colposcopy and cervical biopsy if there are abnormalities in TCT and HPV of cervical cancer prevention examination. If a patient is diagnosed with this disease, cervical conization is generally recommended clinically for women without fertility needs for further diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. If the cervical conization procedure is still highly cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, and if the lesion has been cut clean at the same time, the next good regular review can be done. However, for women who have not had children, further immunohistochemistry is recommended to find out whether the patient needs to undergo cervical conization or to be treated with certain antiviral drugs. This is because cervical conization may cause shortening of the cervix, which may lead to preterm miscarriage or preterm labor.
