Simeglutide 3ml is administered by subcutaneous injection once a week. Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) , which has been shown to have blood glucose lowering, weight loss, and cardiovascular protective effects. It is indicated for glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, and for reducing the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus associated with cardiovascular disease. Simethicone is administered as a subcutaneous injection once a week at a fixed time, with no significant effect on food intake. The starting dose of simethicone is 0.25 mg weekly; after 4 weeks, the dose should be increased to 0.5 mg weekly; after at least 4 weeks of treatment with 0.5 mg weekly, the dose can be increased to 1 mg weekly. Special Note: Contraindicated in patients with a personal history or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, or type 2 multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome. Simeglutide should be used under medical supervision and should not be used on its own.
