The symptoms of chronic hepatitis are divided into systemic manifestations and local manifestations. I. Systemic manifestations. Generally feel weak, easily fatigue, may be accompanied by mild fever, insomnia, dreamy, etc. may be related to this. Second, gastrointestinal manifestations. In hepatitis, liver function is abnormal, bile secretion is reduced, and loss of appetite, nausea and aversion to oil, upper abdominal discomfort and abdominal distension often occur. Third, jaundice. In severe cases, liver function is impaired, and the uptake, binding, secretion and excretion of bilirubin are impaired. Continued increase in the concentration of bilirubin in the blood can cause yellowing of the eyes and skin. Due to the impaired excretion of bile acids, the concentration of bile acids in the blood increases and excessive bile acids are deposited on the skin, stimulating the peripheral nerves, which can cause itching of the skin. IV. Pain in the liver area. Patients with chronic hepatitis B usually do not have severe pain, and some patients may have discomfort, hidden pain and pressure pain in the upper abdomen and right quarter rib area. V. Large liver and spleen. Due to inflammation, congestion, edema and other stimuli, a large number of hepatocytes are necrotic and fibrous tissue is contracted in the advanced stage, and the liver may shrink. VI. Extra-hepatic manifestations. Patients with chronic hepatitis B, especially cirrhosis, have a dark, gray face, called the face of liver disease, and may also have liver palms.
