How long does it usually take to give birth with probenecid?

Generic name of Probenecid is Prostaglandin E2 Suppository, the effect of use varies from person to person and cannot be generalized. It is indicated for use at full term (after 38 weeks’ gestation) to promote the onset and/or continuation of cervical ripening in individuals with a cervical Bishop score of less than or equal to 6, with a single head first indication for induction of labor, and with no contraindications for the mother or infant. Prostaglandin E2 will continue to be released for 24 hours and contractions and fetal condition should be monitored regularly. If adequate cervical ripening is not achieved within 24 hours, the product should also be removed. There is no definite time to enter labor as sensitivity to the drug and cervical conditions vary from pregnancy to pregnancy. Common adverse reactions to prostaglandin E2 suppositories include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, generalized weakness, and abdominal pain. It is contraindicated in women who are unable to deliver vaginally, in women with serious complications and comorbidities, and in women with a history of uterine surgery. Prostaglandin E2 suppositories should be used with caution and in accordance with medical advice.
