The one-dose New Crown vaccine, Concinol, has a booster shot and is usually administered homologously. When it was first marketed, Conocino’s NeoCrown vaccine was designed as a one-shot vaccination without a booster at first, but as the situation of the epidemic continued to evolve, the one-shot vaccine was not able to provide longer-lasting protection, and a booster vaccination was introduced. Concinol’s new crown vaccine belongs to the “type V adenovirus vector” technology line, which is different from inactivated vaccines, recombinant protein vaccines and mRNA vaccines. According to the current vaccination guideline, if the first vaccination is Conocino’s New Crown vaccine, the booster vaccination also needs to be Conocino’s New Crown vaccine, which is a homologous vaccination. In addition, at this stage, China has only issued a vaccination program for the sequential booster vaccination of inactivated vaccines for primary immunization, i.e., the inactivated vaccine is used for primary immunization, and the booster shot can be chosen from homologous inactivated vaccines, heterologous recombinant protein vaccines or adenoviral vector vaccines developed by Conxinol for sequential booster vaccination.
