What are the symptoms of high transaminases

Mild transaminase elevation is usually asymptomatic. Significant elevation may cause loss of appetite, jaundice, fever, itchy skin, enlarged liver, constipation and other symptoms. 1. Mild elevation: usually related to staying up late, alcoholism and overwork, also seen in the early stage of the disease, patients usually have no obvious symptoms. 2. Significantly elevated: usually seen in viral hepatitis, drug-induced hepatitis, fatty liver and so on. (1) Viral hepatitis: patients may suffer from fatigue, loss of appetite, aversion to greasy food, etc. A few patients may suffer from jaundice, and severe patients may suffer from ascites and hepatic encephalopathy. (3) Fatty liver: usually most patients have no symptoms, and a few patients may have symptoms such as fatigue, right upper abdominal discomfort, enlarged liver, and constipation.
