The incubation period of FMD in cattle is 7-21 days, and the symptoms are mainly blisters in the mouth, nose, tongue, udder and hoof. After 1-3 days, these symptoms can easily break down, revealing some bright red vesicles, fever, temperature up to 40-41 degrees, dullness, loss of appetite, accelerated pulse, frothy salivation, blisters on the teats breaking down and blisters elsewhere, and obvious symptoms such as mastitis and abortion. These diseases have a high mortality rate and are also prone to infectious epidemics.
