What to eat for blood anemia

There are many causes of anemia: first, the primary cause should be treated to remove the anemia trigger. Secondly, anemia should be improved by means of dietary therapy. In general, the treatment of anemia should start with a high-protein diet, which can include meat, eggs, milk, animal liver, beans and other foods. Then different approaches are taken for different types of anemia, for example, iron deficiency anemia can be supplemented with high iron foods, such as animal blood or liver, soybeans, lean meat, fish, brown sugar, egg yolk, dried fruits, milk, dark green vegetables, etc. Also, vitamin C, B2, B12, folic acid, VA, VB, carotene, etc. For megaloblastic anemia, supplementation with folic acid, vitamin B12, VC, VB1, and copper is needed. For aplastic anemia, supplementation of hematopoietic substances such as iron, B12, B2, B6, VC, VK, and folic acid is needed. For those with acute onset and infection, give easily digestible, heat-clearing and detoxifying foods, such as mung beans and winter melon. For those with severe bleeding, give hemostatic foods, such as lotus root powder.
