How soon after a brain hemorrhage should you be retested

If there are no sudden symptoms such as headache and vomiting after discharge from the hospital for cerebral hemorrhage, a review can be conducted at the time points of 1~2 weeks, 3 months and half a year after discharge from the hospital.
Usually, it is recommended to have a short-term review 1~2 weeks after discharge, and the review items are mainly CT, MRI and other imaging tests, which are aimed at clarifying the control of hemorrhagic foci and the existence of new issue of blood, etc. At the same time, if the patient is taking medicines for controlling lipids, such as Rosuvastatin, it is recommended to review the liver function and lipids, etc. If the results do not show any obvious abnormality, the follow-up review may be conducted at the time point of 3 months or half a year.
If there is no obvious abnormality in the results of the review, subsequent reviews can be conducted at 3 months, half a year, or as prescribed by the doctor.
If symptoms of recurrence of cerebral hemorrhage such as headache, vomiting, impaired consciousness, or impaired movement of limbs occur during home rehabilitation, it is recommended to go to the hospital immediately for examination and inform the physician of the history of cerebral hemorrhage.
