Ureteroscopic pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy is a safe, efficient and less invasive treatment for ureteral stones, and can be performed bilaterally at the same time. A small urinary tract stone is often painful to the patient, but the traditional open incision and post-surgical pain are really frightening. At present, 95% to 98% of ureteral and bladder stone patients do not need to undergo open surgery. Ureteroscopic pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy is a new technology of intracavitary lithotripsy that has been used in clinical practice since the 1990s. It is safe, efficient, simple to operate, and has few complications. At the same time, our center applies general cystoscopy and pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy equipment for bladder stone lithotripsy and stone extraction, eliminating the pain of open surgery for patients.
