H. pylori is able to survive in the stomach, leading to diseases such as chronic gastritis, acute gastritis, gastric ulcers, and duodenal ulcers. A quadruple combination of drugs against H. pylori infection mainly includes a proton pump inhibitor, colloidal bismuth, and two antibiotics, which usually eradicates H. pylori infection after standardized treatment. After the eradication of H. pylori, the inflammation in the stomach can be improved to a large extent. Especially for patients with gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, after the eradication of H. pylori, they may be infected with H. pylori again if they don’t pay attention to their diet.
