Is Yamada polyp type 1 benign?

Yamada polyp type 1 indicates a very high probability of benign polyps. Polyps are generally classified into four types according to the Yamada typing, type 1 indicates that the polyp is relatively flat and the color of the polyp is comparable to that of the normal intestinal tubes, and type 4 generally indicates that it is a polyp with a clitoris, and that the tip of the polyp may have already undergone cancerous transformation. The benign or malignant nature of the polyp can only be determined after the polyp has been completely removed and sent for pathologic examination. If the pathology can find tumor cells in the polyp, it means that the polyp is malignant. If no tumor cells can be found, it only means that the polyp is benign.
