The common proprietary Chinese medicines for excessive yellowing of leucorrhea are Gynecological Qianjin Tablets and Kangwuyan Capsules.
Abnormal leucorrhoea with high volume and yellow color is a common abnormal leucorrhoea symptom in women, often accompanied by sticky and thick texture, smelly smell, itching in the pubic area, pain in the abdomen, lumbar-sacral pain, and red tongue with yellowish moss. According to the traditional Chinese medicine viewpoint of diagnosis and treatment, this kind of dyspareunia mostly belongs to dampness-heat infiltration (dampness and heat evils invade the intestines, bladder, pubic area, lower limbs, etc.) or dampness-toxicity condensation syndrome.
Gynecological Qianjin Tablet, the name of Chinese patent medicine. It is composed of jackfruit, golden cherry root, andrographis paniculata, gongloumu, one-sided needle, angelica and so on. It has the effect of clearing heat and removing dampness, benefiting qi and resolving stasis. It is used in treating the symptoms of dyspareunia and abdominal pain caused by dampness-heat stasis (accumulation of dampness and heat evils to form stasis), which is characterized by profuse, yellowish, thick, and pain in the abdomen.
The adverse reactions of Gynecological Qianjin Tablets are not clear. Contraindications are qi stagnation and blood stasis (blood stasis due to lack of circulation of qi), cold congealed blood stasis; contraindicated in pregnant women. Diabetic patients should use with caution. Avoid spicy and thick-flavored products.
Kangwuyan Capsule, Chinese patent medicine name. It is composed of dandelion, sepsis, red peony, coix lacryma, atractylodes macrocephala, angelica sinensis, rhizoma ligustici, ligusticum, zedoary, etc. It has the function of clearing heat and removing toxins. It has the effect of clearing heat and removing toxins (removing heat and toxins from the body), resolving blood stasis, removing dampness and stopping leucorrhea. It can be used for treating the symptoms of excessive discharge, scanty menstruation and menstrual cramps, dysmenorrhea caused by the accumulation of dampness and heat (dampness and heat evils accumulate with each other in the body).
The adverse reactions of Kangwuyan Capsules are not clear. Contraindication is forbidden for pregnant women.
