In clinical practice, qualitative hepatitis B is often used to screen the population for hepatitis B virus infection, while quantitative hepatitis B is used for the following purposes: 1. to determine the regression of the disease, such as whether the acute hepatitis B virus infection will become chronic; 2. to determine the effectiveness of antiviral drug therapy and to predict when the drug can be stopped.
