How Liver Stones Form

Liver stones may be formed due to bacterial infection, cholestasis and parasitic infection. 1. Bacterial infection: If the bile duct is in chronic inflammation for a long time, the bile duct wall is proliferated repeatedly, and stones are easily formed after the bile duct wall is damaged. 2. Biliary stasis: if the patient has inflammatory biliary tract stenosis and biliary tract deformity, it can cause poor bile excretion, which will lead to the appearance of stones in the bile duct. 3. Parasitic infection: In relatively poor sanitary conditions, it is easy to produce biliary parasites, and the infection caused by parasites can cause chronic inflammation, the infection of long-term stimulation of the liver and biliary system will cause the appearance of stones. When the patient has liver stones, it is recommended to go to the hepatobiliary surgery department of the regular hospital in time for examination and standardized treatment.
