Differentiation between lobar pneumonia and tuberculosis

Lobar pneumonia and tuberculosis have several points of differentiation as follows: clinical manifestations are different, lobar pneumonia mainly manifests as a sudden high fever, and there is obvious chest pain, coughing, coughing up sputum, sputum is a typical rust-colored sputum. The course of the disease in about a week, with sensitive antibiotics such as penicillin treatment can be completely improved, while the main symptoms of tuberculosis manifested as persistent low fever, rarely high fever, and cough, cough sputum, chest pain, but not as obvious as lobar pneumonia. The symptoms of toxicity may be characterized by lethargy, fatigue, lack of energy and poor appetite. Chest radiographs show that lobar pneumonia can be seen in lobular segments of the lungs, with large, solid, dense shadows, whereas tuberculosis can be seen as patchy, dense shadows. By simple antibiotic treatment, such as penicillin, erythromycin, etc., lobar pneumonia can be completely cured within a week of improvement, while tuberculosis inflammation can not be controlled, and even also aggravated.
