Will granulomas go away on their own?

Granulomas do not eliminate on their own. There are two main types of granulomas that occur clinically, one is inflammatory granuloma and the other is foreign body granuloma. Foreign body granulomas are usually caused by the entry of foreign bodies after local skin tissue breakage, which stimulates the proliferation of surrounding tissues, resulting in a sterile inflammatory reaction. In the case of foreign body granuloma, the presence of a foreign body is usually cured clinically by complete local surgical excision. In addition, inflammatory granulomas are mainly seen in surgical wounds or keloid, resulting in recurrent localized scar tissue proliferation. Inflammatory granulomas are usually cured clinically by surgical excision because of the repeated proliferation of fibrous tissue, which usually forms a dense scar.
