Can I eat salted eggs after epiglottis cyst surgery?

Salted eggs should not be eaten in the short term after epiglottis cyst surgery, and the diet should be light and easy to digest.
Epiglottis cyst is a cystic swelling formed due to the obstruction of mucous gland ducts in the epiglottis mucosa, in which mucus is retained. For those with small cysts and insignificant symptoms, they can be followed up for observation; if the cysts are large, suspected to be secondary infections, or if there is discomfort in the throat or a noticeable sensation of a foreign body, they need to be treated in time, and surgically excised if necessary.
The prognosis of this disease is good, and it can be cured by surgical resection, and is generally not easy to recur. It is advisable to eat light, easy-to-digest food such as rice porridge within 2 weeks after surgery, salted eggs are not recommended, and spicy, too cold, too hard, too hot and other stimulating foods should be avoided so as not to affect the recovery of the disease.
In daily life, we should develop good living habits, exercise properly, maintain oral hygiene, quit smoking and drinking, and have regular outpatient review when there is discomfort in the throat.
