Spinal vascular malformations are not hereditary. Because most spinal vascular malformations are congenital, there is no history of hereditary disease. However, there may be a hereditary tendency in clinical practice, so if two or three or more members of the immediate family within three generations have spinal vascular malformations, it is recommended that appropriate tests be performed to identify the corresponding changes. Arteriovenous malformations of the dura mater are mainly due to elevated venous pressure in the body, so it is important to control blood pressure and maintain the abnormal state of one’s blood vessels to increase the chances of normalization. Some clusters of venous vessels can be arteriovenous malformations, with predominantly congenital development, as is the case with cavernous hemangiomas. Therefore, it is still advisable to get it checked early after having symptoms and not to worry very much.
