If a tibial bone tumor develops, you will usually experience pain at the tibia. The pain is mild and intermittent at first, with periods of time when the pain will appear and periods of time when the pain will decrease or disappear. As the disease progresses, the pain will gradually worsen and become persistent, especially at night when the pain is more pronounced. Some tibial tumors can cause pathological fracture. In addition to pain, tibial tumors may also develop swelling. If the tumor is in the superficial part of the tibia, the swelling may appear earlier. If the tumor is deeper in the tibia, the swelling will not be very obvious.
