The good or bad cooperation between patients and medical personnel during chemotherapy directly affects the efficacy, therefore, patients are reminded to pay attention to the following issues during chemotherapy.
One, maintain a relaxed, positive and good state of mind
Correct understanding of hair loss, nausea, bone marrow suppression and other chemotherapy side effects, no need to be nervous or anxious about it.
Two, maintain a good appetite
Diet should be soft and easy to digest, mainly porridge; do not eat more greasy, difficult to digest food; small number of meals is good, even if the patient has vomiting, but also insist on eating; arrange the meal time, avoiding the peak of chemotherapy drug action; eat more fresh vegetables and fruits with high vitamin content. During chemotherapy can contain food with anti-vomiting and spleen-healthy effect, such as ginger, orange peel, hawthorn slices, etc.; strengthen high protein, low fat food.
Three, drink more water
Maintain a daily water intake of 2000-3000 ml, you can also drink fresh fruit juice.
Fourth, when nausea, do deep breathing, stop eating
Listen to music and other ways to divert attention. If vomiting occurs, rinse your mouth with water, remove vomit in time, and relax your whole body.
Five, pay attention to observe the condition
If abnormalities occur, promptly report to the health care provider.
1. Hematopoietic system: whether there is an increase in body temperature, whether there are petechiae or bleeding spots on the skin and mucous membranes, whether there is epistaxis and gum bleeding. (Peripheral blood should be measured once or twice a week during the treatment period)
Gastrointestinal reaction: nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension and loss of appetite in mild cases; in severe cases, abdominal pain, diarrhea and bloody stools may occur in addition to the above symptoms.
3, kidney function damage: chemotherapy drugs can cause kidney damage, therefore, before and during chemotherapy should drink a lot of water, juice, soup.
a Maintain sufficient urine volume to 3000ml/day or more.
b Measure the urine pH each time and keep pH 8 or above.
c Usually pay attention to the color of urine, whether there is turbidity and precipitate.
4.Liver and heart function damage: pay attention to observe whether there is yellow staining of sclera and skin; pay attention to whether there is heart failure such as panic, shortness of breath, cyanosis and edema.
5, pay attention to the local performance of the venipuncture site: such as the presence of pain, skin redness and swelling, drug extravasation, leakage, etc.
6.Damage of skin and oral mucosa: such as oral ulcer, bleeding, erosion, hair loss, etc.
VI. Protect infusion channels to avoid infection and shedding.
Strengthen indoor ventilation, ensure personal hygiene, pay attention to wearing masks and keeping warm, and take more rest.
VIII. Make sure to review regularly at outpatient clinics after chemotherapy.
