No fetal heartbeat at 9 weeks, is there any hope?

Nine weeks of pregnancy without fetal heartbeat should generally be hopeless, and if the human chorionic gonadotropin level is also abnormal, early termination of pregnancy is recommended.
If your menstrual cycle is regular, you can usually go to the hospital for a vaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks of pregnancy to see the fetal buds and fetal heart tube pulsation. If you are already 9 weeks pregnant and you can’t see the fetal heartbeat on the ultrasound, it is likely that the embryo is in diapause.
Embryonic arrest means that the embryo has stopped developing, which means that the embryo has died. If the embryo is dead, of course, there will be no fetal heartbeat, and the level of human chorionic gonadotropin in the body will be reduced. So if you don’t see a fetal heartbeat at 9 weeks of menopause and the human chorionic gonadotropin hasn’t doubled normally, then consider it to be embryonic arrest.
If it is determined that the embryo has stopped developing, the pregnancy should be terminated in time, either by medication or surgical abortion.
