What causes head sweating?

Excessive head sweating may be caused by diet, stress, low blood sugar and fever.

1. Diet: Frequent consumption of spicy and stimulating foods, such as drinking alcohol, chili peppers, onions, ginger, garlic and other foods, and excessive intake of hot foods may also lead to excessive sweating of the head.

2. Mental tension: patients with excessive mental tension will experience sympathetic nerve excitation, which may lead to excessive sweating of the head due to excessive tension.

3. Hypoglycemia: When the blood sugar is low, the sympathetic system will be excited, which will regulate the sweat glands and lead to the secretion of sweat from the sweat glands, thus inducing excessive sweating on the head.

4. Fever: During fever, the blood circulation in the body is faster, resulting in blood vessel expansion, which will induce excessive sweating.

The above are only some of the common causes. If the symptoms persist, you should consult a doctor in time to get a clear diagnosis and then follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment.
