What are the dangers of a heart murmur?

The heart murmur may be related to physiological factors and pathological factors. The heart murmur caused by physiological factors is generally harmless; the heart murmur caused by pathological factors may lead to cardiac insufficiency, or even life-threatening.
1. Physiological factors: for example, when performing strenuous exercise or emotional excitement, a murmur may appear on auscultation of the heart, which is softer, without tremor, and generally limited to the systolic phase. This murmur is softer, without tremor, and is usually confined to the systolic phase. The murmur will disappear after resting or calming down.
2. Disease factors: such as dilated cardiomyopathy, aortic stenosis, congenital heart disease. At the onset of cardiac auscultation there may be murmurs, these murmurs can be described as jet, wind-like nature.
If the primary disease is not timely treatment may cause cardiac insufficiency, the patient will appear chest tightness, shortness of breath, dyspnea and other symptoms, and in serious cases may be life-threatening.
