There is no way to treat myopia with atropine sulfate eye drops, only a low concentration of atropine can slow the progression of myopia, and atropine gel is mainly used to dilate the pupils so that the optometry examination will be relatively more accurate. Of course, as far as current technology is concerned, there is not yet a method or a drug that can cure myopia; all that can be done is to slow down the progression of myopia or to reduce the incidence of myopia. Low concentrations of atropine, such as 0.01% concentration or 0.05% concentration, or 0.1% concentration of atropine, can delay the progression of myopia, but if the drug is discontinued, there may be some signs of rebound, but usually not much. However, low concentrations of atropine may have some side effects, such as photophobia or tearing after pupil dilation, and some people may even have difficulty seeing near places. If the need for accurate dilated pupil optometry, is the need for atropine gel needs to be used for three days in a row, the fourth day of dilated pupil optometry treatment, so that the degree of accuracy will be a little bit more, but these two atropine eye liquid or gel is not a way to treat myopia.
