Don’t worry too much if the lung CT examination suggests a small nodular shadow. Small nodular shadow generally refers to lesions <1cm or less, which are divided into benign and malignant nodules, and most small nodules belong to benign nodules. Most benign nodules are benign. Generally, benign nodules are found in inflammatory pseudotumors, mechanized pneumonia, and tuberculosis, all of which have small nodular shadows; malignant small nodular shadows are mostly considered to be lung cancer. If the nodules do not increase in size, there is no need to worry too much. If the nodules increase in size, percutaneous lung aspiration or PET-CT should be performed to clarify the nature of the nodules, and surgical treatment should be performed to remove them.
